HOG CASINGS

The calibration of original hog casings is the core of our business. The material is imported from EU countries only and nearly half of it is cut by our own workers directly in the slaughterhouses. This enables us to guarantee high quality standard for our clients. After cleaning and de-slimming process, the original casings are selected by the team of highly skilled selectors in our workshop in Presov, the establishment approved by EU veterinary number SK 8 ES. The specific quality requirements on all products are controlled strictly by our supervisors, not only during the production process but also before each shipment.

Apart from hog casings, we produce other hog by-products as fatends, chitterlings, bungs, stomachs and bladders to special order. Mäspoma also imports additional quantities of calibrated hog casings, mainly from China and Germany.
